Addison's journal

Thanksgiving break was really great! Went home on Wednesday night, and for the next three nights we had good dinner with various family friends and church friends. Ahh… how I miss home cooked meals… (mine don’t count). It’s always a joy to see my family, not only to spend time with them, but also serve them through doing chores and helping out. I really thank God for giving me such a loving family that I sometimes take for granted.

Anyway, now that I’m back in at school, a CS project looms over my head, and I will certainly need to be disciplined and persevere without distractions. The final stretch approaches like a tidal wave, through which I can faintly perceive the excitement of the snowboarding trip awaiting me on the other side of the maelstrom. The time for the final charge is upon me. How will I fare…?

Finally, after a bit of tweaking, my gallery page is working. In the future, I will try to make it easier to add new links to the page, and maybe make an indented list for picture from multi-day outings!

Went to the Thanksgiving service tonight, and was encouraged that the grace God has given us for the forgiveness of sins and for eternal life is mind-boggling! What a joy it is to know that our eternity is secure with Christ! Just can’t thank Him enough for his sacrifice and love toward us.

This week will involve the drive back home with friends, then the numerous dinner plans and the sumptuous amounts of food will more than satisfy my belly. But more importantly, time spent with family will be a real joy and refreshment before the upcoming barrage of due dates and exams. Anyway, time to rest!

I’ve decided to use the Wordpress blog as my home page, with the other pages like gallery be individual links. I think this works better than my old bare home page. Anyway, I will post more in the future, but right now, I must sleep…zzZ
