Happy Chinese New Year!
Once again the year of the rat is rolling around, and all sorts of family and friends gather for this new year celebration. I don’t know how many hotpot dinners I went to already, but I won’t mind having more! Anyway, life has been busy, hence the low frequency of updates. But the Lord has been good in teaching me about patience and my lack of discipline through His Word and the messages I hear. My small group, as we go over 1 Corinthians, has been a blessing, in the truths that it exudes and the convictions that it places in our hearts. Even in the midst of midterms and projects, I must focus on the more important task of growing in spiritual maturity and my love for my Savior. When everything you’ve done on this Earth is but a memory, what is it that matters in eternity? The thing that transcends this present life is the soul, which either ascends to heaven to be with our Lord or descends to Hades for everlasting punishment. I’m glad that my salvation is secure, so in light of that, I try to live life to the fullest, not wasting a moment, for the glory of my great God. Anyway, I tend to ramble, so I shall stop now and attend to my classes.
